26 May 20 - Today we went to Walmart to do a little shopping.  One item on the list was quart storage bags to put cut bananas in.  Kathy picked up this box from the shelf and the bottom dropped out!  It had been torn open and put back on the shelf.  Well I picked them up off the floor and put them back in the box, but I put the box back on the shelf open side up.

Everly's rattle

22 May 20 - This afternoon we went over to Sanford to get Everly's rattle engraved.  I have a little more sanding and then a few coats of finish and it will be ready for the little Miss to enjoy!  Don;t know when we will be going down to give it to her.
14 May 20 - With all the work we have been doing scanning and organizing the pictures I forgot to get pictures of the completed shed.  The painters finished the shed on the 14th!  It looks so much better all white.  I got the door wheels put back on a couple of days ago.
 Great improvement!
Back side of the shed!

13 May 2020 - Ordered a new swivel TV stand from Amazon.  It took a while to find one that swivels a full 90 degrees.  So now we can watch from the living room.
And with a quick swivel we can watch from the kitchen table!  That was easy!
13 May 2020 - The painters arrived at 7:30 this morning ready to paint.  They taped all the door tracks and the latches.
They got the doors primed to seal the 2X4's before the first coat of paint.
Prep coat on the 2X4's on the doors.
 First coat completed.
First coat on the south wall.
First coat on the West wall.  They will be back tomorrow for the second coat and might be done, but it make take till Friday.  Going to look much better when they are done!
12 May 2020 - I got a call from Bowman Painting saying we won the lottery and they were going to start our shed painting on Tuesday.  Julio arrived around 3 pm to power wash the shed in preparation for paint.
It sure did need it, he used 2 1/2 gallons of chlorine thru the washer.
He even cleaned all the concrete after he washed the shed and did the fence behind the shed.  Great guy!
7 May 20 - We added a second table so Kathy could reorganize and assemble photo albums.  This has been a monumental task.  We can see the end of the job!

5 May 2020 - On Saturday night Kathy said it was taking too long to get hot water in the bathroom sink.  Since it was bed time I said I would check it out in the morning before showers.  Well the control panel which usually has lights and numbers displayed didn't have them.  So I checked power at the outside heater, there was power, but still no lights on the keypad.  I sent a text to the repair guys and asked to put on Monday's schedule.  They came and checked out the unit to find the motherboard had burned up and it unit needed to be replaced.  They got a new unit on Tuesday and came over in the afternoon to install it.  Here it the bottom of the old unit, the 2 lower water connections were full of corrosion and black gunk.  Probably restricted the flow!
He is removing some copper pipe to make the new connections.  This gave him the most trouble of the entire job!
Mounted and working on the water and gas connections.
Water and gas hooked up now for the power and control panel wires.
With a flip of the breaker we have hot water again!  Modern conveniences are great.  We have been showering in the camper since Sunday morning.  Glad we have that with full hookups!
2 May 2020 - We started scanning our photo collection.  Here is the setup in the living room.  I timed the process last night. It takes approximately 1.05 minutes to scan one photo.  Each black box holds 1100 photos. Scanning one box takes approximately 16 hours!  We are almost done with the top box of pictures.  Once the 2 boxes are done we have some old photo albums we are going to update and scan all the pictures in them.
Long process!

30 Apr 20 - Today we took a little break from photo organization to get the movies organized.
Of course they all didn't fit under the tv stand, but we have a selected collection there.  The rest will be in the closet if needed.
