Picture project cleaned up.

30 Jun 2020 - Today the scanner and computer were put away!
All the disks were organized and packed up!
The table was taken back out to the shed!
And we got our living room back!  I still have to finish organizing the picture files on the external hard drive, but I can do that from the kitchen table.  It was a long project, glad it is done.

Broccoli Sprouts

29 Jun 2020 - This is our first successful attempt at growing our own sprouts for our salad.  I tried 2 or 3 times before but they ended up rotting.  We figured I must have watered them too much, or didn't drain them enough.  Kathy has done all the watering and it seems to help to set the tray on a paper towel to rid the excess water from the tray.  They are out in the sun to green up for dinner!  We had some last night and they were good.

CD Organization almost complete.

29 Jun 2020 - CD organization is almost complete.  The piles at the top of the table are by year.  The small pile front center of the table are all that are left to look at.  I could be done today, tomorrow at the latest.
The pile in the front right of the picture is what I have left to look at and date.  Going to be wrapping u this project soon!

Picture Project is getting close!

25 Jun 2020 - Today we got all the pictures scanned and verified and put in the 7 boxes.  We finished looking and organizing the negatives, the 110 camera ones were the hardest to look at.  They are in box #8.
They were then put in the spare room closet for storage.
The second table was taken out to the shed where it came from.  I still have that box of cd's to look at to make sure there are no pictures that haven't been transferred to the hard drive.  Then we will be able to put the entire project on 3 external hard drives to give to the kids!  Lets hope either they or the grand kids will be glad we did the job.

Detailing of the camper and the truck.

24 Jun 2020 - I had to contact 3 different detail businesses to find one that would come out and do the camper and the truck.  The first one spends the summer in Tennessee, the second one was in Colorado for the summer.  The third one was here and came today to wash and wax the camper and the truck.
They arrived around noon and finished at 6 pm.  They did a great job!  I will be calling them next time it needs to be done and I don't want to do it!
It was 2 guys, the company owner, and his helper.  They used a low speed wax applicator buffer and then hand rubbed off the wax with microfiber cloths.  Of course within an hour of them leaving it poured rain!  But the water beaded up on the truck quite nicely.  Job well done.

Picture Project day unknown!

15 Jun 20 - Kathy started looking thru the negatives.  She is using the IPAD to look at the negatives in x-ray view to see what events are on the same roll of film.  This will help us date some of the pictures.  A tedious process to say the least.
I finished going thru the last box today!  All 7 boxes have been gone thru and scanned and labeled.  We will be going thru each one again to make sure they are scanned and verified and hopefully the negatives will be put in the box with the photos.  Looking forward to finished this project!
13 Jun 20 - From the morning walk on the beach.  Had to stop and take a couple of pictures!  We did get a little wet on the way back!

9 and 10 Jun 2020 - I went and purchased 2 new pigtails for the tanks.  Here is one connection point to the regulator.

Another view of the regulator, the pigtail goes on the right side where the shiny brass hole is.

This side of the regulator is where the line from the tank on the other side of the RV connects.  That line is 8 feet long, it had to be replaced also.  All rubber gas lines get stiff with age and they are all 7 years old.  Tomorrow I have to turn on the gas and check for leaks, the pipe thread sealant has to dry.

Broken Propane Line in Camper.

27 May 20 - We left to go down to South Florida to visit the grands.  On our lunch stop the fridge was flashing a gas problem.  Which means we are either out of gas or I didn't turn the tanks on before we left.  So it was time to do some investigating to see what is going on.
When I opened the first propane door there was this pigtail line that was blown off the connection to the tank.  Good thing we have the gas stop to keep a line failure for causing an explosion!  This tank was empty.
The other side tank was almost full but the gasstop device did its job and shut off the gas from this tank also.  One of the best investments we have made so far in our RV life.

6 Jun 2020 - We started this photo scanning and organizing project on 23 April.  Kathy says we are in the home stretch.  We have not worked on this project every day, but we have taken about 10 days off.  We have taken apart photo albums because they were falling apart.  Can't wait to put the tags on these boxes to denote years of photos in them.  That will be the final task in this project!
