Mater Bathroom Light Completed

31Jul 20 - The master bathroom light has been completed!  The color looks dark blue or purple depending on the angle.  When you turn the lights on it looks black!  But it not rusty chrome any longer so it is a win.

Tack Hammer Project

29 Jul 20 - The long story behind this find is - An elderly neighbor had a pile of junk at the curb that the trash guys wouldn't take because it was strewn about.  I got tired of looking at it for the second or third week so I went over with a trash bag and cleaned it up.  I found some useful things one of the being this tack hammer head with a broken handle.  I also found some kids toys that I savaged.  I took this rusty head and sanded it down and cleaned it up.

I took a piece of oak from a wheel barrow handle that I had and am making a handle for the hammer.  It is a pretty small hammer but it should turn out nice.

Corner Device Shelf

28 Jul 20 - Another inside project today.  Since the remodel last year the wifi router, cable modem and the Arlo receiver has been setting either on the bookshelf or the tv stand.  Today I finished the corner shelf for these items to set on and to hide the 2 cables coming down from the ceiling.

The wifi router in blue on the top shelf, the cable modem on the bottom shelf in black, and the white Arlo receiver on the TV stand will be moving very shortly.

The corner shelf installed.  The holes above each shelf are for the routing of the wires for each device.

Top shelf is the wifi router, next shelf is the cable modem and the bottom is the Arlo receiver.  The power strip is mounted on the bottom of the shelf to keep it off the floor and allow for the corner to be vacuumed!  The shelf is painted to match the walls so it blends in.  The TV hides the wifi and the cable modem.

Storm Front!

28 Jul 20 - A big storm front came thru around 3 pm today.  Very impressive looking.  We had quite a bit of rain in a very short time.

Enough rain to fill up the pool as a matter of fact!  I had to drain a few inches out before the next days rains hit!

Master Bathroom Light

27 Jul 20 - Well this light has been up for almost 20 years and is showing signs of rust on the chrome.  Today I took the chrome cover off and delivered it to the powder coat shop to have it done.  I will post a photo when I get it back and get it installed.

19 Jul 20 - We went down to Dania Beach to visit Jonathan, Kaitie and Harper for a week.  We wound up helping paint the pergola in Jon's back yard.  We had to remove the sun shade from the top and painted it white.

We got it done and got the shade put back on in about 5 hours.  It looks great!
