The are finally going to tear down the Treasure Island hotel. It was damaged in 2004 when the 4 hurricanes came thru Florida. They have a tracked vehicle with a long arm and a pincher device at the end. They operate the vehicle from the ground and nibble off bites of the building and they fall to the ground. The city said it was going to take 1 week to destroy the building and 2 weeks to haul away the debris. It has been 2 weeks since they started nibbling on this building. They had not worked 2 days in a row since the start. Going to be a long demolition.
