14 Apr 20 - So I have made this breakfast for the past 2 mornings. Fruit, cinnamon, chia seeds, and oatmeal. Both yesterday and this morning we were wondering why the oatmeal was a little spicy. Well today I figured why it was, and we laughed about it!
Sunday we cooked both Whole Groat Oats and a batch of brown rice in the instant pot. The brown rice has some red pepper in it. Since breakfast we more like a heat and eat instead of cooking rolled oats like I have done for several years. I opened what I thought was the oats, well it wasn't, it was the rice. So for the past 2 mornings we have eaten rice prepared like oatmeal. Not bad though, but we have to cook another batch of rice for make dinner with tonight. Can you tell the difference between the rice and oats?
