1 Oct 20 - This is one of the small cracks on the window sill that I caulked up in an effort to seal the leak that caused the water intrusion in the living room.
Josh, the plasterer, came this morning to help find and then fix the leak. We ran the hose on the outside of the window and Josh was inside looking for water in the wall. We found no water leaks so he started to work his magic to repair the hole I made. Board and tape to cover the hole.
Drywall compound to level it with the rest of the wall.
A thin coat of texture to help it match with the rest of the wall.
Now we wait for compound to dry and then paint and it should look just like it used to! Josh does amazing work! His crew also did the swirl ceilings! Now I have to inspect the windows for cracks every year. I found out that I should have been doing that for the past 12 years since the windows were installed. OOPS!
