Today I took the old original kitchen faucet out of the camper. It was turning green and leaking where the upright piece connected to the base and leaked on the counter. You can see the green yucky stuff in the picture below.
I had to make a trip to the hardware store to get an adapter fitting to connect the red 1/2 inch pex line fitting to the 3/8 inch size line of the faucet below.
The new faucet is installed and working! Now we have to find a plug to cover up the 2 holes in the counter from the old faucet. The new one had a cover plate to hide the holes but the threaded posts were too big and didn't go thru the holes. It is a much nicer faucet, actually metal instead of plastic like the original!
