14-15 Feb 22 - Quick Trip to Spartanburg, SC

We left for Spartanburg Monday afternoon to retrieve the bed tank tool box from the black truck.  The body shop is still waiting on the fender on the drivers side.  When we got there they had put the 50 gallons from the tank into a 55 gallon plastic drum.  I used the hand pump to transfer about half the fuel into the red truck while Earl removed the bolts from the tank.
Earl helping me get the pump off the tool box tank so I could pump the fuel into the red truck.
4 guys and a strap to life the 25 gallons of fuel into the red truck.
The outside of the drum was wet and dirty from setting outside.
But we got it without and damage or spillage.
Drum and tank strapped down ready to roll home.
Stop for a 10 am snack before leaving spartanburg.  Kathy pronounces "sammich" all the time.  Now we know where she gets that pronunciation from!

We passed this oversized semi with tires sticking out of the top of the trailer!
There were only 3 tires in this semi trailer, I can't imagine how much each one cost?  $40,000 each, maybe?
